https://www.nhk.or.jp/osaka-blog/weekend/449974.html
Today's NHK "Kansai Weekend" is the monthly "Let's ride". This time it was a garage series, so it was a tour of the Midorigi vehicle factory in Osaka Metro. https://www.nhk.or.jp/osaka-blog/weekend/449974.html
First, the new car maintenance scene of the 30000 series 18th organization (31618 etc.) for Midosuji Line. Once inside the car, there was a demonstration of dimming the interior lights and an introduction to the driver's cab. With this, I think that the 10 series will be scrapped again, but which organization will it be?
Next, take the Osaka Tram No. 30. It was inside the warehouse, but I enjoyed the driving scene.
Among the 23 series under regular inspection, there is a preserved car No. 105! Like No. 30, it seems that it is under maintenance so that it can run on its own. The video shows the disassembled mascon, but the problem is the U-universal valve of the brake. Even at that time, I had a hard time maintaining it, but can I compete with the current technology? I don't know when the maintenance will end, but I'm looking forward to it.
The last is the track maintenance vehicle corner, so the recently introduced track maintenance motor car D-34L has appeared. From the feeling of the name plate, it is probably made by Matsuyama Heavy Industries, but it is a large track maintenance locomotive with a crane at one end. There was also an introduction to the driver's cab, but pay attention to the automatic brake valve. Looking at the name plate, it is an M-24 brake valve, which has both direct braking and automatic braking functions. It was Choshi Electric Railway's Deha 801 (former Iyo Railway Moha 106) that saw the M-24 brake valve in active use, and I thought that the active M-24 brake valve had disappeared due to the company's retirement. I did. Although it was a track maintenance vehicle, it was surprising that an active and newly manufactured valve was used.
